This box is located at the sight of the historic Hatteras Lighthouse on Hatteras Island.
Directions:
From Buxton, go south on Lighthouse road to visitor center and lighthouse. Park and go see lighthouse, then back in car drive to far end of loop parking area. Park near end on either side.
To the Letterbox:
Walk back to center of roadway at middle of loop. Look down middle, which should be a line of trees separating the parking lots. Walk into trees and find the only cedar tree (to rightish). Box at front base under needles and sticks.
