Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 200 meters RT)
Recommended Ink: blue
Status: alive
The national flag of Barbados is comprised of three equal vertical panels; the center panel of gold and the outer panels of blue. Blue represents the sea and sky of Barbados, while gold represents the sand of the island's beaches. A broken trident of Neptune is located in the center of the flag, symbolizing Barbados' break from Britain. This flag can be found at a small park at Carlisle Bay, a great place to snorkel with marine life and shipwrecks. BTW, the date of this box placement was interesting since it was Groundhog Day, Super Bowl Sunday and a rare palindrome date.
Directions:
From Radisson Hotel go north on Bay St about 1 km then left into a small, free parking lot next to a park with large gazebo across the street from the Prime Minister's Office.
Clues:
Walk north past the gazebo to a fountain surrounded by a hedge with two openings. Go through either one to fountain and go toward gazebo to inside of hedge. LB is on ground about 1' into hedge under a rock & leaves.
