The Soar Into Spring Kite Festival takes place every May and welcomes families to fly kites and enjoy several free kid activities. It is held at Foxglenn Park, which has access to the Foxglenn Trail where this box can be found.
Directions:
From I40 go east on E. Butler Ave for 1.5 mile and turn right into Foxglenn Park and park on right by the FUTS Foxglenn Trailhead.
Clues:
Walk on Foxglenn cement trail as it heads southwest along the edge of the park behind baseball field and eventually becomes a gravel trail heading west. Continue about 200 yards to blue marker on left and sewer cover on right. Go right 18 steps to medium pine tree with large rocks behind it at beginning of hill. Continue up 9 more steps to small pine tree with rocks around it. LB is at back base of tree under a rock & needles.
