The Virginia Beach SPCA is located at 3040 Holland Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23453. In addition to the 3,000-5,000 domestic animals we receive annually, we also rehabilitate 1,500-2,000 wild animals. Therefore, wildlife habitats are very important to us.
At the end of our parking lot, you will find the most spectacular Wetland Garden. If you follow the path to the left side of the garden, you will see a National Wildlife Federation sign certifying this area as a Wildlife Habitat. From that sign, take approximately 46 paces toward the back of the garden to the top of the berm between the garden and the pond. Glance to your left. There you will see the final resting place of the Great Turtle and find our letterbox. Be careful not to disturb the Great Turtle’s gravesite when looking for the letterbox.
