6275 Old Springville Rd. Clay, Al...Located at Cosby Lake Park. If you Park in the far left parking area you will be near a walking bridge that takes you across the side of Cosby Lake. Follow the trail around. Shortly after you step off the bridge you will come to a point where you can go left or right...follow to the right. There will be a wooden bench on the right side (the last in a series of benches). At the end of the bench take 92 paces down the trail following around the lake. On the left you will find a hollowed out tree that is still standing upright. Inside the base are two rocks and underneath the rocks "the boat of Cosby Lake" can be found.
