This Cheshire Cat can be found At Shepherds Flat on the Chesebro Canyon Trails. Here are your directions to the trail head:
Trail head:
The Double Tree trail head. Going South on the 101, exit Kanan and turn left. Continue on Kanan for 2.2 miles, turn right at Sunnycrest Dr.
Park along curb when the Park Recreation Center signs appear. The trail head is just before Clear Haven St.
This letterbox is best retrieved by taking the Palo Comado Canyon trail on to Shepherds Corral, otherwise known as Shepherds Flat. From Shepherds Flat, take the Chesebro Canyon trail to the Ranch Center Connector. All in all the hike is 5 miles long and will take around 2.5 hours. Here are your clues.
You can see from a distance
Just where I live.
A small cluster of trees
Maybe two miles in
Once you get there, count out loud
One…Two…Three…Four…Five.
Look up and I assure you,
There I’ll be found.
But wait! Off in the hills
A terrible sight.
Hearts clad in armor,
It’s the Queen with her Dark Knight
For now I must go, I must disappear
But don’t worry, I can still be found
I want you to count to five and ask yourself this…
If I were the Queen, what hole would I miss?
