After entering Malibu Creek State Park, drive past the day use center and the trail to the visitor center. Stay on the road. About ten yards after the entrance to the trail, there's a large log laying on the left side of the road. The letterbox is underneath the log. If you have reached the sleepover campground, you have gone too far.
