Difficutly: Fairly easy
Distance to Mini-box: About 1/2 mile round trip
Status of Mini-Box: Alive and Well on 7/7/09
The "Queen Bee" Mini-box is located in Mount Douglas Park, in Victoria, B.C. (Canada). This park is loaded with trails and views, and seems popular with dogs also.
Directions:
Follow Shelbourn Street to where it ends at the park enterence. Turn left into the park, and park on the right in the parking spaces (this is the lower parking area).
To the Mini-Box:
Walk up the road until you come to the trail post on the right for the "Merriman" trail. Take this trail down the hill until you reach the next trail post for the "Irvine Trail"(reported that this sign is missing). From this post, locate the large tree behind the trail post. On the far side of the tree, from the trail post, there is a hole about 1 foot up. The mini-box is in this hole, covered with a tree limb.
Please re-hide it well, and email me with status: babybearlb2002@yahoo.com
