This box is being planted for Walworth County Historical Society as part of America's 250th Anniversary. Bring your stamped logbook into Walworth County Historical Society for a prize!
Thanks to the good people of the Ho Chunk Nation Department of Heritage Preservation, this site in Walworth County was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
Park on the road near the Landmark sign.
Enter, and seek out the Turtle; a marker will confirm you've arrived.
Set your compass to 140 degrees and walk in that direction to the next marker.
Now, set your compass to 40 degrees and walk in that direction to the next marker.
Standing at this marker, look over the top in a direction of 330 degrees to another marker; walk only on the paths to get there.
Standing at this marker, walk due north to the next marker.
From this marker, walk at 40 degrees for 40 paces (80 steps). You will arrive at the one who fell when he was around 100 years of age; he holds the secret.
PLEASE BE DISCREET and cover well.
