Terrain Difficulty: Easy (slight slope, 2.4 km RT)
Of the 18 penguin species around the world, Fairy Penguins are the smallest and also the only ones with blue and white feathers. Phillip Island is home to the largest colony and you can see them by booking tickets to the Penguin Parade after finding this box on the Pinnacles Trail at Cape Woolamai Walks.
Directions:
From Phillip Island Rd go south on Woolamai Beach Rd to Woolamai Beach Parking at end of road.
Clues:
Walk onto the beach and turn left for about 1 km, then take wood Magiclands Steps up to clifftop. Go right on Pinnacles Trail a short way to a bench on the right across from map sign on left at jct with Woodland Track. LB is at back base of sign under rocks & dirt. Please be discreet and look for wallabies since I saw several in this area.
