Part of my Beer Series
Terrain Difficulty: Easy (slight slope, 1 km RT)
Great Ocean Road Brewhouse has welcomed tourists and locals since 1887, first as the Ballarat Hotel and now as the home of Prickly Moses Handcrafted Beer. You can enjoy delicious pub favorites while enjoying beer, gin, wine, and whisky tastings by the fire or in the beer garden overlooking picturesque Apollo Bay. So come relax after finding this box at nearby Marriner's Lookout.
Directions:
For the Brewhouse, go to 29/35 Great Ocean Rd. For the letterbox, from Great Ocean Road go west on Marriner's Lookout Rd for 1.5km to Marriner's Lookout Carpark at end.
Clues:
Walk on dirt path through gate and up to lookout at top of the hill. Go back down a short way to where fence on left ends with wood braces. Continue 8 steps to medium tree on left side of trail on the slope. LB is at back base under a rock & leaves. Please be discreet and watch for echidna since I saw one near the box.
