A girl scout troop met at Holland Lake Shelter to learn about letterboxing. They decided to enjoy the day by going on a hike around the lake and headed down towards the water. After considering the map, they decided to go "to 25". Once they reached the marker, they continued 90 steps and found a clear view to the water. As any kid will do, they traveled downhill off the path about 15 steps toward the water and found a stump taller than any of them reaching 5' into the air. It was hollowed out and they started making up stories about all the woodland creatures that might live in that hollowed stump. To commemorate the adventure, they left behind some stickers and hoped others might find the same joy in exploring that they did!
