Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 1 mi RT)
The Brewer's Cabinet is where creating the right environment is as important as crafting the perfect beer, and with multiple locations you have several to choose from. So come try a few perfect beers after finding this box on the Tom Cooke Trail.
Directions:
For the Brewpub, go to 475 South Arlington Ave. For the Production Facility, go to 8565 White Fir St. For the letterbox, go south from the Production Facility on White Fir St across the Truckee River to parking lot for the Tom Cooke Trail on the left. You have to do a U-turn to get there since can't turn left.
Clues:
Walk around gate on asphalt trail a short way to jct with left going across bridge. Instead, go right on old dirt road and continue as it bends left and follows the river on left and a canal on right. At beginning of green fence on left, go left toward river and go around fence by small tree. LB is just inside fence under a large rock & leaves.
