"Stand by Me" is a 1986 American coming-of-age drama film directed by Rob Reiner and based on Stephen King's 1982 novella "The Body". It was mostly filmed in Oregon, but the famous train bridge scene was filmed on the trestle above Lake Britton Reservoir near Burney, California. The steam locomotive used was McCloud Railway No. 25 that worked on the McCloud River Railroad, which is now abandoned but can still be visited. In the film, after Gordie and Vern escape the train, Teddie tells them "That was the all-time train dodge!", thus the name of this box.

Directions:
Drive north on Hwy 89 past McArthur-Burney Falls SP and across Lake Britton, then turn right at sign for Dusty Campground. Go 0.3 and park on right in small area by the end of the bridge.

Clues:
Facing bridge, walk left to fiber cable pole and go on path 22 steps, then right 5 steps to a boulder at the edge of the cliff with a view of the bridge and river below. LB is at left front of boulder under rocks & leaves.
