Enter the Buffumville Lake Trail - South Side through the gravel parking lot, through the gate and past the large boulders. Pass the Disc Golf basket that you should see to your right and cross the lake stream. Find the lake trail and continue on it until you come to a small beach with a view of Oxford Road. Look for Trail Marker 6, then continue for 100-200 feet until you reach a tree with initials and a heart carved into it. Walk another 100-200 feet until you reach a tree fallen over at a 45 degree angle. You will find the box buried at the base of the tree.
