Thirsty Pika Taproom is a modern establishment with a self-pour 30-tap beverage wall including beers, wines and cocktails for purchase by the ounce. So come try several oz after finding this box at Loveland Pass Lake.
Directions:
For the Taproom, go to 167 Wildernest Road Unit E in Silverthorne. For the letterbox, go east on I70 and take exit 216 onto CO 6 for 4 miles to Loveland Pass. Continue 0.5 mile to Pass Lake Picnic Area on right with large lot.
Clues:
Walk to end of parking area onto trail as it goes past left side of Pass Lake up to a jct above two other lakes. Go left down to first lake and bend right at next jct to stay on left side of both lakes. At end of second lake go to top of rock bluff to a group of pine trees, going past first lone pine to group of five. LB is between the first two under a rock & needles.
