From the trailhead, hike to the observation deck (approximately .75 miles)
Just a bit further onward from the observation deck, you will see a picnic bench.
Hike up to the bench, turn left, and walk 15 steps to the large tree with the small palm next to it. You will find your treasure between the base of the tree and the palm, covered in moss.
