Sidekick Brewing is a riverfront brewery nestled below the beautiful Cheam Mountains. Born out of friendship in 2022, they hope to be the sidekick to many more, so come get your kicks before finding this box at Cultus Lake Park on the Teapot Hill Trail, a whimsical trail adorned with teacups, saucers, and teapots. This trail is just crying for a teapot letterbox and I would have placed one if I had known about it before coming.
Directions:
For the brewery, go to 45530 Vedder Mountain Rd. For the letterbox, go west on Vedder Mountain Rd then south on Columbia Valley Hwy to Cultus Lake Park. Go 2.3 km from the Park Entrance to parking lot for Teapot Hill Trail on left after passing the Delta Grove Campground.
Clues:
Walk south on the trail at back of lot to jct with old gravel road. Go left up past a restroom and map on left, then continue climbing as it goes by a creek and passes many teapots placed along the trail. Before reaching the jct with trail going right to Teapot Hill, stop just before a culvert going under the trail at large stump on left side. Go left of the stump 25 steps up to another large stump, but this one has a broken teapot on top and a fallen tree on right side. LB is on right side of stump within the fallen tree under a rock & leaves.
