Terrain Difficulty: Easy (moderate slope, 400 yards RT)
Named for one of the original race boats in the annual Kelowna Regatta, Red Bird Brewing has been voted best craft brewery in Kelowna. So come see for yourself after finding this box at Knox Mountain Park.
Directions:
For the brewery, go to 1080 Richter St. For the letterbox, go north on Richter St, then left on Broadway Ave and right on Knox Mountain Dr up to Crown Lookout parking lot on left. You can drive up between 12-8 pm, otherwise park below and hike up the Apex Trail.
Clues:
Walk to white gate next to restroom and go right on the Apex Trail up to a white sign on left at a jct with Paul's Tomb Trail. Continue straight 45 steps to beginning of a fence on left by a small path. Go left on path 7 steps to medium pine tree on left. LB is at back base under a rock & needles.
