Terrain Difficulty: Easy (moderate slope, 1.5 mi RT)
When High Mt Brewing opened in 1997 it was the only place in the Village to enjoy craft beer. That has changed in recent years, but it is still a great place, so come try a few brews after finding this box on the Rainbow Falls Loop.
Directions:
For the brewery, go to 4355 Blackcomb Way. For the letterbox, go north on Alta Lake Rd to Rainbow Falls Trail parking on the left.
Clues:
Walk to kiosk on right side of lot and go up the trail, staying right on main trail at first jct, then left at next one down to view of falls across 21 Mile Creek and a bridge crossing the creek on the right. At beginning of bridge, look under left side below a metal girder supporting the top rail. LB is behind rocks in gap between wood plank and metal girder under bridge planking. Continue across bridge to complete the loop, going left at jct to see another view of the falls, then back to main trail to left side of parking lot.
