Locate Hendrix Cemetery south of Denison. (Some call that area Sherman.)
Enter the cemetery and walk to your right toward the bench and historical marker. Read about the history of the Hendrix and Jennings families here.
Walk 18 steps southwest to a square arrangement of large rocks. Pass the Perdues in their rock home and walk further west. Find the Jenningses on their family slab. These are my ancestors and kin.
Walk seven steps north of the northwest corner of the Jennings slab.
Here you will find what you seek. Be sure to recover the box with rocks and other natural camouflage.
This is a letterbox-geocache hybrid. You may encounter cachers who are navigating by GPS. Please give them ample courtesy.
