I have a box of carved stamps that were postals at one time. I would like to plant and share them with others instead of having them take up room in my house. This is one of them.
This box is located along the Auto Tour. You can find a map online, ask for one at the Visitor's Center or you can just follow the little red numbered signs with the stars.
After Auto Tour Stop 5, Virginia Memorial and before Auto Tour Stop 6, Pitzer Woods, locate a turn off on the right for the Amphitheater and pull in. Park in any of the spaces on the right. After exiting your vehicle, take the trail across from it and go right, toward the potties. Pass the potties and immediately to the left of them should be 4 largish rocks. Right beyond those rocks is a good-sized tree with a small pile of sticks and rocks, with your prize underneath.
