I chose this spot because occasionally you can catch a fireworks display here, as the view is lovely.
Locate The Mountain House restaurant on top of the mountain on Route 30. Caution pulling in as it is a tight curve. Park in the vacant lot to the right of the restaurant in front of the tall hedge, near the electric pole. Find the ‘hidden entrance’ into the hedge, in front of the pole and enter. Follow the rock path to the first picture, using blue blazes on the rocks. Enjoy the view of the town on your right. Walk uphill to your left to the copse of trees. At the entrance to the copse, look to your left using the photo to locate your prize.
