Distance to Letterbox: about 2 miles rt if only box. 6.2 if doing full hike to falls.
Box is located along trail to falls. The falls are GREAT, and worth the hike!!!
Directions:
From Boulder, go south on Hwy 12. Eventually, see sign on right for Lower Calf Creek Falls State Park. Turn in and find parking. Pay fee.
To the Letterbox:
from parking, walk to end of camping area and begin trail. Go until you reach the #5 post along trail. Go past post for 12 steps, then go left off trail in an alcove and to the trees. See the "V" tree behind the 1st two trees. Box is at back base of that tree under 6 inch rock. Go on to falls, or return.
