At 4,413', Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in Scotland, the United Kingdom, and the British Isles. I climbed it after completing the last part of the West Highland Way, but couldn't find a suitable spot to place the box at the summit because of so many people on the trail. I decided to place it at the base of the mountain for easier access, but I still recommend climbing it if you can.
Directions:
Go to Ben Nevis Visitor Center and park.
Clues:
Walk behind the VC and across the bridge, then right on a rock trail heading to Ben Nevis Inn. Bend left and climb over a wall via a stile to jct with a rock road across from the trail to Ben Nevis. Go right on the road parallel with the wall for 28 steps, then right to the wall where a tree is growing on the other side. From top of wall, look down two big rocks in a crevice behind a small triangular rock for the LB. Please be discreet.
