Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 200 yards RT)
49th State Brewing started in 2010 from a bus barn in Healy next to Denali National Park and brewing only one barrel at a time. Over time they increased production and expanded to brewpubs in several other locations, including the one in Anchorage where this box can be found nearby on the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail.
Directions:
Go to the brewery at 717 W 3rd Ave and try a few, then go to Elderberry Park at 1297 W 5th Ave and park.
Clues:
Walk through the park to the Coastal Trail and go left (southwest) on it through a tunnel. Continue 15 steps and go right and up 8 steps to a pine tree between two boulders. LB is at back base of tree under a rock & grass. Please be discreet.
