To find this “perfect” letterbox, go to Walnut Woods Metro Park. Once there, follow signs for the Tall Pines Area trail. Continue until you reach a fork in the road. Turn right, towards the Tall Pines Area. Make sure to look at these tall trees, they’re beautiful! Keep walking and admiring the outstanding foliage until you reach an inlet with two benches, almost three quarters of a mile down the path. Once there, you’ll see a side path on either side of the main path. Take the side path on the side with the benches.
Keep going until you learn how this parkland was purchased. Directly opposite that sign, you’ll find what you seek under the three skinny trees just off the path. Good luck!
