Distance to letterbox: 8.5 miles or 10 miles if do loop.
Box is located a green colored Prairie lake. Nice hike to lake, and even better as a loop to Miner Lake. This is north of Sun Valley, and South of Stanley, Idaho.
Directions:
From Sun Valley, go north on Hwy 75. Turn left on Prairie Creek Rd (FM179) and drive the good gravel road to the end. Park
To the letterbox:
Take the trail. In about 2 miles the trail starts the loop. Go right to go to Prairie lake. Once you get close tot he lake, see sign on a tree for Miner Lake, and paths that either go to the lakeshore or to Miner. Go between the paths to a tree clump. Box is behind the first big tree, under rock.
