1905 Wright Flyer III
I'm from out of state so I have no idea how safe this area is. At 1 in the afternoon after we'd toured the Aviation National Park, we felt very safe, except for traffic. We parked in the Dayton Cultural Center parking lot along W 4th Street and used the crosswalk to get to the sculpture. From the map it looks like it may be okay to park along Horace Street?
Wilbur's (or is it Orville's?) left thumb points to a stone bench circle about 50 paces away. From the center of the circle, with Orville (or is it Wilbur?) being noon, a bearing of 10 o'clock leads to a stone lamppost. Along the outside of the circle is a small stone wedged into a niche beside that lamppost. Fair Fowl roosts there.
Hold on to the tiny baggy to protect the logbook when you rehide.
Please rehide the tiny pouch in the same spot with the small stone wedged back in place and bless by tossing a handful of leaf debris over the area.
