Listen, children of rock, and I shall tell you a tale of music and misery. It takes place at a house of music, the kind of music made by folks who just wanted to rock out and didn’t give a s*** about anything else. Where the likes of Joan Jett, the Psychedelic Furs, and the Misfits cut their teeth before hitting the big time. As well as many others who never got their break but left their mark just the same. One fateful night, things got just a little too hot and the music never played there again.
Cross the way, where you can still get double-billing (twice!), head over to the left and you’ll find a path of sorts. (It turns into a gully after it rains, so wait for a dry spell.) Follow the path into the trees, away from the road. After a short walk, you’ll come upon a mid-sized drainage pipe, about 1 foot diameter, on your right. From this pipe, cross the path and you’ll find a small tree. The box is under a rock cairn at the base.
