Part of my Beer Series
Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 0.2 mile RT)
Bear King Brewing was inspired by the legend of a mysterious creature that stalked the outskirts of Marble Falls. Some say it was half-man, half-bear and the myth of the Bear King was born. The beer is no myth however, so come enjoy a few before finding this box at nearby Westside Park.
Directions:
For the brewery, go to 207 Ave G. For the letterbox, go northwest on 2nd st for 0.8 miles and turn left into Westside Park.
Clues:
Walk on gravel trail behind restrooms, going right at jct and under Railroad bridge. Continue on the winding trail past several benches to one on left marked "Ronald B Zent" (before disc golf tee box #13). Walk behind bench 6 steps to large oak tree with LB at back base behind a shiny rock.
