Girl Scout Brownies from Troop 52911 hid this letterbox on a trail as part of their LetterBoxing badge. There are small toys and stickers in the box for the kids to take! Please leave our notebook and pencils in the box.
1. Enter Old Economy Park on Forcey Dr.
2. Turn right on Orchard Shelter Rd.
3. Make a right at the white barn.
4. Continue all the way to the tennis courts and park there.
5. Go South towards disc golf net #6 and log post.
6. Walk about 500 feet (kids: count about 250 steps). You will come to a wooden fort structure.
7. Go right till you find a hiking trail.
8. Follow the trail looking for white trail markers (circles) on trees.
9. Hike about 1/3 of a mile and count the circles.
10. After the 8th circle you will come to a forest bench. Take a little break!
11. You have one more white circle to go!
12. Continue on the trail until you see a bridge over a creek. Look for the letterbox!
13. Sign your name and today's date in our notebook (stamp it if you brought your own stamp), and choose a small prize to take home!
14. follow the white tree markers on the trail to get back :)
