Terrain Difficulty: Easy (moderate slope, 1 mile RT)
Big Bear Falls can be found on the Big Bear Trail at Jacob Fork Access in a park named the opposite of North Valleys. Upon hearing the name, it made me wonder if the falls were named for a passing bear, or if a bear just fell near the falls. I chose to carve the latter.
Directions:
Park in the Jacob Fork Access area.
Clues:
Walk on the High Shoals Fall Trail to a jct with Big Bear Trail. Go right on it to end with view of falls. Go right around a huge boulder to its opposite side in the middle. LB is between a large rock and the boulder under a SPOR.
