Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 200 meters RT)

Ice Hockey was not invented, nor did it start on a certain day of a particular year, but it originated around 1800 in Windsor, where the boys of King’s College School, established in 1788, adapted the exciting field game of Hurley to the ice of their favorite skating ponds and originated a new winter game called Ice Hurley. Over a period of decades, Ice Hurley gradually developed into Ice Hockey, and you can learn more at the Hockey Heritage Museum within the Haliburton House Museum, then find this box while walking the grounds.

Directions:
Go to Haliburton House Museum at 424 Clifton Ave. and park in the lot behind the museum. If gate is closed, park somewhere close on the street and walk in.

Clues:
Walk to a big sign at the back of the lot showing a map of the Clifton Estate disc golf course. Turn around and walk past the left side of a white building to hole #9 basket between two large trees. Continue a short way to a gravel trail near #1 tee box and go right on it 25 steps, then left 8 steps to a large Y-tree. LB is at back base under sticks. Please be discreet.
