*** Part of my Beer Series ***
Terrain Difficulty: Easy (slight slope, 400 yards RT)

Able Baker Brewing derives its name from the first two atomic bombs detonated at the Nevada Test Site. These two test explosions were named after the military’s phonetic alphabet of the time, making them tests “Able” and “Baker”. Their atomic duck logo is based on the legend that a duck was the only animal to survive the Atomic tests. So come try a few atomic beers, then find this box at Red Rock Canyon, featuring scenic rock formations and several trails.

Directions:
For the brewery, go to 1510 S Main St. For the box, go west on NV 159 into Red Rock Canyon, turn right on Calico Basin Rd for about 1 mile, then turn left into Red Spring Parking area. This is not part of the fee area.

Clues:
Walk to covered picnic area and find the Calico Overlook Trail just left of it. Go on it, paralleling a fence on the right, to a trail marker on the left across from a sign on the fence saying "Keep Out of Fenced Area". Go left behind marker 5 steps to a medium bush with LB at back base under rocks.
