Our Girl Scout Troop, 67839, has been working hard on our Silver Award Letterboxing. The troop decided that nothing is more uplifting than exercising outside in the fresh air surrounded by nature. We have two group projects where each group of three girls has picked a motivational phrase. Then they broke the phrases in parts and carved stamps to spell out the phrase. Each box will lead you to the next, and the final box will encourage you to explore the other set of three.
The next time you're hiking at Rocky Neck State Park, you can find the beginning of our Walk In The Woods boxes. A Walk in the Woods starts outside the main gate of the park. Past the intersection to I95 is a "hiking” entrance. Our first clue is to look for the Welcome Sign, you will find a surprise there! Each box will have a journal and stamp as well as a clue to lead you to then next clue.
