This is a wonderful family event. No climbing or difficulty. It's a 2 mile walk round trip on level paved ground, with an open field for running and playing.
If you are a bird watcher, this also is great place. Or if you just like to bike, run or walk. Gallow Creek Greenway is wonderful.
Since this is a long walk / running path, ranging farther north and south of our letterbox. We began decided to start somewhere near the north end. Our task begins at the Southern Hills Swim & Tennis Club (SHS&TC). The pathway is across the street from SHS&TC.
Just as you enter there is a big brown sign "Lone Pine Bike Park - North End. The first bench, "May your trails always lead to happiness"
If you got this far you are on the right path. Heading south, you will see an enormous wheel chair all made out of stainless steel. We had a overcast day so the metal was not to hot to sit and take pictures.
On down the path, LIVE LIKE LUKE. You have walk 1/2 mile by this point.

After walking a mile, we and decided to sit. We old folk, you see!
What a lovely spot, cover of the trees, late spring breeze. Just lovely!
When seated, to the right is a large tree with an open hole knob about 8 or 9 feet up.
No, we did not hide it in there. Who knows what squirrel family, owl or even a woodpecker would find it home in there. We don't want to displace them. That and I'm not good at climbing trees. Remember I'm old !!
BUT, if you wander around behind this tree you will find at it's base in the ivy brush is the box. Remember to retrieve it when no one is around. Non-boxers are known to steal such treasures.
Return to the bench and swap you images! Return carefully. Please notify me if this box needs attending!
Just a short walk back and you have walked your two miles for the day!
