BOX 3 MISSING, give me a week to get that replaced.
Follow the Mill Race trail in Landenberg PA as it curves downhill, takes a left at the creek, and does a loop around. Along the way, take note of the many places to “sit a spell”:
From the Sweeneys, continue to the fence. Look beside the tree at the beginning of the fence for box 1.
At BSA troop 29, look directly across the trail (240°) behind the large unblazed tree for box 2.
When you reach the picnic table, turn right and follow the trail over the boardwalk.
At Louise, notice the large log to the right. Box 3 lies between it and the tree behind.
Pass Robert and continue around the corner to a fallen log on the left. Look for Box 4 under wood about where the branch broke off the big log.
Stop at the Pollock/Fry family. Box 5 is at the tiny 4-tree about 15 steps behind.
Rusty is different from all the others. If you check out his legs, you might find a random bonus “stamp”! Look down the trail at 270° to a couple of fallen logs with a green rock behind. Box 6 is under SPOR by the rock.
This are is getting a little overgrown. It could be a mess in high summer. Continue along the trail until you see some newish fence rails lying on the left. (If you reach the little bridge, you’ve gone too far.) Go into the woods before them between a couple of large trees and look for the large fallen tree about 15 feet back. The logbook for the series is there in the space where the trunk splits.
You've almost finished the loop and will recognize your surroundings soon.
Please be sure to rehide the boxes well so they can’t be seen. Also, ink is provided; if you choose to use a different ink color, please clean the stamp afterwards.
