Distance: Depends on start place, but 100 yards or so.
Telluride is now one of our favorite ski locations. Great runs and beautiful!!!!
Directions:
Get to Mountain Village, either by car (parking by Upper Gondola, then taking down to Moutain Village) or in town of Telluride (ride Gondola up to Mountain Village).
To the Letterbox:
From the Gondola(s) at Mountain Village, exit and go down the stairs. Go right and cross the courtyard to the Fairmont Franz Klammer hotel archway. Go through to other side and walk through courtyard to road. You should see Club Rd to your left. At road, find the Centrum Bus Stop. Go inside the shelter, and go to back right corner. Box is up top, where roof meets the cross beam. Box in corner on top of cross beam, tucked back in.
