Red, purple, or burgundy ink preferred
Between Eagle River & Eagle Harbor is a beautiful waterfall called Jacob’s Falls. Right next to the falls is a bakery called The Jampot. It is run by a Catholic Monastery of the Byzantine Rite. The bakery is open near the end of May through mid-October Tuesdays - Saturdays. Please do stop at the Jampot if it’s open. It is wonderful. From the store, continue about 1.7 miles toward Eagle Harbor. On the right take your leave. Make your way on the one way to Eagle Harbor Trail. Park. Do not veer left. Continue 45 steps instead. Take the sort of trail left 10 steps. Just ahead to your slight right between the standing & fallen. Be sure to cover well so that it cannot be seen from the trail(s) from either direction.
Check out the view of the Big Lake while here too. Up ahead if you continue driving you’ll see amazing views and eventually come into Eagle Harbor & Copper Harbor.
