Nice little park west of town heading toward Devil's Postpile. Site of huge split in ground from past earthquake.
Directions:
Drive 3.7 miles through town on Highway 203 and turn right on Minaret Road. Follow Minaret Road to sign for "Earthquake Fault" and turn right, then go to end of road and park by bathroom house.
To the Letterbox:
Facing bathroom, go right to cement platform area and destroyed sign. Continue past on trail going down into fault, then back up the other side. Once on top of other side, look straight ahead and 2 huge pine trees. Walk to the right tree. Box is on front side of right tree, under a rock, and under dirt.
