Find your way to Morton MN.
Your first task is to find the high school. It hasn't been a school for quite some time, now appearing to be a storage lot for a construction company.
Behind the school is a white LP tank, with a red topper. The natural area behind the school is label to be safely explored, so get your boots tied as you'll be doing a little bit of rock hopping.
There is a sign, just to the right of the LP tank that talks about the natural flora. There is a slightly worn path that leads up into the rocks. Follow the path, follow the rocks, it makes not difference. Just be careful and find your way to the highest point.
Take a moment to enjoy the view.
You'll know that youre in the right place if you find "Morton" medallions embedded in the rock. I found at least 3.
One of the medallions is labeled "Morton. Number 1. 1990."
Stand atop that medallion and set your compass to 60 degrees.
Forgot your compass ? Look toward civilization (away from the fossilized dinosaurs turned into fossil fuel). And you may see white residence.
There is a rock down below you.
As you look down at the rock, Almost like a broken dinosaur tooth, the rock has a small "V" notch on one side. Look under the chipped tooth rock.
You may find a dinosaur amongst the clouds.
Safe travels home.
Hike length: 0.1 miles
