Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 0.75 mile RT)
Status: alive
Southwest Williamson County Regional Park offers eleven soccer fields, two softball fields, a football field and stadium with a 400-meter track, eight tennis courts, six basketball courts and a playscape, along with hike and bike trails. You can also take a ride on the Cedar Rock Railroad, a quarter-scale train that takes passengers on a ride through the fields and forests of the park. So come for a day of fun while finding this box.
Directions:
From US 183 go east on RR 2243 (E South St) for 3.2 mi, right on CR 175 for 3 mi, then left on Perry Mayfield Blvd into SW Williamson County Regional Park. Continue straight through traffic circle for 0.7 mi to small parking lot on left where road bends sharp right.
Clues:
Walk through Jim Rodgers Trail gate with #600 on it and go left on the trail about 200 yards to jct with Parkside/Highlands Trail on right. Go right on it to 0.25 MM, staying straight on main trail as it crosses smaller trails. Go right off trail 20 steps to V oak tree with LB at back base under a rock & leaves.
Hike length: 1 mile
