This letterbox has been placed in honour of this special place; Lemoine Pt. A place where many, many people are finding refuge and solace during this pandemic. My family treasures and enjoys Lemoine Pt. often and we hope you do too!!

There are 2 entrances to Lemoine Pt. in Kingston. This clue will be taking your from the 'main' or 'north' entrance which is off Coverdale Ave. past Rotary Park, the off leash dog park and then into the large parking lot. After you've parked, walk towards the big yellow gate that is used to keep unauthorized vehicles off the trails. Walk south on this main trail for about 0.75km. You'll come to a fork. Take the left fork up a slight grade for about 150m. At this point, Trail #2 crosses the main trail perpendicularly. There is a park bench on the south east corner of this trail intersection. Turn left onto Trail #2 and almost immediately, you will see a huge, hollowed out stump on your left. If you look into the stump through the top, you might see the corner of the letter box hiding in the leaves. But to get at the letterbox, you'll need to lie down on your stomach and reach in a good distance in order to get a hold of the letterbox. Please try to do this when no one else is watching. And please do your best to return it nice and far into the cavity under the stump.

Hike length: 1 mile
