To find this letter box, you first need to be on route 85 in either Salem or Colchester. Drive to the Townline between the two towns on route 85 and nearby will see a small little pull off and the trail head for big Brook Gorge.
This is my daughter’s first letter box! Please take care of it and feel free to visit multiple times… Even with hitchhikers! She wanted to plant it in a place that meant a lot to her and we’re hoping to get a lot of visits, so we placed it near the road.
Clue: As you get out of your car and see the trail head sign, stop. Look at the Stonewall on your right, the letter box is on the inside corner of the Stonewall, in behind a couple flat rocks.

Bonus: She wrote a story for you in the beginning of the logbook. She carved the stamp and created the story match it.
First to find can take her first HH on a trip. It’s called “Smile for a While”. It’s the first stamp she carved! I told her her first would be her worst...she agreed but it was fun and she started her letter boxing adventure.
