This box is located at Lower Blue Lake on the Blue Lakes Hike, starting near Ridgeway. Nice hike, and beautiful lake!!
Directions:
From Ridgeway, go west on Hwy 62 for about 5 miles. Turn left on Dallas Creek Rd (CR&/FR851) and drive 9 miles on this fairly good gravel road to the end and the trailhead for Blue Lakes.
To the Letterbox:
From the parking area, go to the Trailhead sign and begin trail. Hardest part is the beginning, then trial gets better. Once you reach the lakeshore, go right and get to lakeshore. Continue around right side of lake until you reach al large flat rock on lake bank with 2 little trees next to it. Continue past for 25 steps to large boulder on your right. Go right away from lake and to left of pine trees for 44 steps to 2 large boulders on your left. Box is located in between these boulders, on the back base of the right one, under a rock.
