In loving memory of Topaz
Located at 39 Queen Street in Gettysburg, PA, Forever Love Rescue is an IRC 501 c-3 non-profit organization. They provide shelter and care for lost, abandoned, and abused cats, help in the control of animal population, educate the community about spay/neuter programs, and find long, responsible homes for cats rescued by the organization. The organization is made up of volunteers and 100% of all contributions goes to the direct care of these cats. As of August 1, 2020 the Rescue has taken in over 400 cats and kittens this year alone.
Come in and enjoy a cup of coffee and meet the Cats of Gettysburg. They have cats and kitten of all ages and personalities who are looking for love and a new forever home and come from all backgrounds. All cats before they are adopted have been vet checked, received all shots due for their age, have been spayed/neutered and socialized by volunteers.
When you enter the Rescue please open the door slowly as there are many cats which are not caged. As you enter you will feel like you are Grandma's parlor with chars and sofas where you can sit, relax and enjoy time with the cats. There are 2 rooms set up this way and 3 other rooms containing cats and kittens in cages. Volunteers can help you with the cats.
The Kitty Corner Letterbox is located on the shelve to your right as you enter. It is a plastic box labeled "Kitty Corner". An ink pad is provided. Hope you enjoy your tour of Forever Love Rescue and meeting the Cats of Gettysburg.
