DIRECTIONS: Go to the public boat launch for Lake Mamanasco, Ridgefield CT. It is at the south end of the lake, on Mananasco Rd., near the intersection of Mananasco Rd and 12th Lane.
CLUES:
-Park your car and stand facing the notice board at the boat launch
-Starting with the boulder at the right leg of the notice board (closest to the launch), walk to your left and count 17 boulders.
-You should be about halfway into the parking lot. Look to the west, into the woods, from the 17th boulder, and approximately 8’ past the edge of the grass you will find a SPOR.
-The lunker lurks beneath this pile of rocks. This box is a tribute to the largemouth bass of Lake Mamanasco.
Please rehide well and keep dry.
