1. Go to Mound View Park.
2. Start at The Homestead Mine. If you don't know where that is, follow the paved path until you see a sign that says Homestead Mine.
3. Veer southeast onto a grassy path going downhill.
4. Continue on the grassy path through the open area.
5. Starting at the end of the open area, count the pine trees to your left.
6. On the fifth pine tree, go under and behind it. There are many small bushes and trees. The letterbox is hidden in the base of one of them.
