This box was made to commemorate our beloved family member dog Rosie that past away.
Clue:
After following Route 66 through Middletown and down Meriden Road turn into the parking area on the right and start up the trail. This is the blue/red blazed trail. Follow up hill to where the trail crosses into the blue blazed trail and keep following the blue trail to the left. The trail gets quite steep and rocky so be careful. Follow the trail for a while past wonderful views of the distance to your left until just before you walk up to the rocky clearing and are facing a lone and isolated family of four with a stone backdrop. Face them and search for a comfortable temperature in Fahrenheit and a man's name. Go and stand facing the temperature. Take a reading of about 29 degrees and walk in that direction until you reach the lone Christmas tree. Face the tree on the side opposite the last day of February in a non-leapyear. Walk to your left until you reach a decline and just downward Rosie can be found playing next to two sisters underneath a rock leaning on them.
If found please treat with care and hide again well. Thanks for playing!
Hike length: 1-2 miles
